Salary: £27,188–£28,688 depending on experience plus quarterly bonus. OTE £30,188–£31,688

Pulman are looking for an enthusiastic Purchase Ledger Clerk to work from our Volkswagen dealership in Durham.
The Role
• Review, code and process incoming purchase invoices for approval
• Reconcile supplier accounts on a monthly basis
• Prepare monthly supplier BACS payment runs
• Support the business in achieving efficient and accurate financial processes
• Assist with general accounts administration as required
• Support the Accountants with month end tasks
• Manage the accounts email inbox
• Be the first point of contact on the telephone

The Person
• Previous purchase ledger or accounts experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to build positive working relationships
• Able to work effectively within a team
• Flexible and proactive approach to work
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm based at Pulman Volkswagen, Durham.
